Glowlights Fish

The glowlight tetras is one of our favorite freshwater species. The glowlight tetra is a small and slender attractive peaceful shoaling fish and its friendly and active disposition as well as its ease of care makes it an ideal and famous fish for the community aquarium. Originating in the rivers of guyana it is easygoing and peaceful and can survive in a fairly wide range of aquarium environments.

They re a great choice for beginners or experienced owners who want a low maintenance fish to care for.

Glowlights fish. It should be kept with similar sized non aggressive species. Because they are schooling fish you ll want to keep at least six glowlight tetras. They re colorful active easy to care for and fun to watch.

However to understand why these will get along best with your glowlight tetras you will need to understand what type of fish the following are. As neon tetras are extremely peaceful and small sized fish neon tetras will get along very well with glowlight tetras. Glowlight tetras must be kept in groups ideally in aquariums with a few hiding spots amongst plants.

The glowlight tetra is absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly easy to care for. The main reason for this is that there are few small fish as peaceful hardy and adaptable as the glowlight tetra. Grow to around 4cm 1 6 in length.

The glowlight tetra is one of the longest standing and most popular small aquarium fish available. There are silver areas in the belly region and the dorsal and tail can show white tips. Because of this we find ourselves recommending them to other aquarists all the time.

The obvious red glowlight stripe runs the full length of the fish s body with a basic background of olive to yellow green.
