Green Severum Cichlid

The green severum also known as the banded cichlid is a color variation of heros severus severum. They have stunning bands on their scales that make them look more attractive. To keep this fish happy give them a home in a 20 gallon or larger tank that is lightly planted with a soft bottom.

Green severums are relatively peaceful cichlids and usually only become territorial or aggressive when breeding but it always depends on the individual.
