It has a large long and deep body accompanied by a long quadruple tail. The veiltail has a compact body shape like a fantail but somewhat rounder with a deep belly and slightly arched back.
The veiltail is one of the more recently recognized fancy goldfish varieties in its own right having been developed in philadelphia usa in the early part of the 20 th century. Veiltail goldfish are similar to the fantail goldfish but have a rounder body and extremely long delicate looking fins. Their double caudal tail fin and anal fins are well separated.
The fish may even have an excellent finnage if they are provided with proper tank room and time even trailing their fins along the substrate as they swim.
