Guppies angelfish use with caution mollies loaches cardinal tetras corydoras catfish and other friendly fish. They are not an aggressive fish. 5 to 8 neon s in a small tank like that is good.
This group includes black skirt bleeding heart buenos aires and congo tetras. They tend to get along well with a majority of other fish species and they especially go well with peaceful fish in your tank. This is why you need tank mates for the neon tetras.
With its white and black coloration and long flowing fins the black skirt tetra barely resembles the neon tetra. Bettas naturally gulp air from the water surface. The neon tetra is compatible with some of the following fish.
